Pleasant Valley was named after the school's location on Forest Road and by the park, formerly known as Pleasant Valley Park.

At Pleasant Valley, we believe that education is one of the best investments you can make in your child's future.  Our community provides a nurturing environment in which to raise and educate your child.

We offer many programs including free breakfast, free lunch, afterschool opportunities for students as well as parent learning opportunities.

Pleasant Valley has been serving the community for more than 90 years.  The staff takes great pride in providing a caring atmosphere for both students and parents.  Because your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated, never hesitate to call, email or visit when you need information or wish to discuss your child's education.

The diversity of the Pleasant Valley community offers our students and staff the opportunity to learn about and appreciate other cultures, traditions and societies.  The staff encourages our students and their families to share their perspectives in order to foster greater understanding and knowledge of our neighbors and the world.  We value community partnership and encourage volunteers or mentors to help enrich our school community.

Students at Pleasant Valley can expect excellent teachers, school leaders and other caring adults who are there to help them meet academic expectations, plan for the future and feel connected to our school.

We will ensure that all students have the tools, resources and the opportunity to navigate a path to graduation and beyond.

We encourage all of our parents to be engaged in your child's education.

We welcome you to Pleasant Valley and hope to see you often.
